Ayeye

Ayeye is a safe and inclusive space for all members of the LGBTIQ+ community and allies to come together and celebrate our resilience, strength, and unity through food, fashion, and culture. Our theme, AYEYE, which means celebration (or feast) in Yoruba, reflects our determination to thrive and flourish in the face of adversity.

We believe in creating a space where everyone can feel welcome and valued, so we will have trained volunteers available to provide support and assistance if needed. We will also have a food fair featuring traditional Nigerian dishes, as well as modern takes on classic favorites, all prepared by local queer chefs and participants. Expect live performances by talented queer artists and an atmosphere highlighting the richness and diversity of the Nigerian queer culture.
